Tabouk Power Plant # 2 Extension Project (180 MW)

This project involved the expansion of the existing Tabouk Power Plant No. II, based on three GE Frame -7EA gas turbine generator units (around 60 MW site rating each), operating on distillate oil. Major balance of plant equipment included distillate oil tanks, fuel treatment, handling & forwarding systems, plant heating-ventilation-air-conditioning and firefighting systems. The scope of the project also included a dedicated distributed control system for the plant controls.
