Jeddah Power Plant No.3 Expansion Project

480 MW Jeddah Power Plant No.3 Expansion Project. This project involved the expansion of the existing Jeddah Power Plant No. 3, based on eight GE Frame -7EA gas turbine generator units (around 60 MW site rating each), operating on crude oil as primary fuel and distillate oil as start-up, shut-down and back-up fuel. Major balance of plant equipment included crude & distillate oil tanks, fuel handling & forwarding systems, plant heating-ventilation-air-conditioning, firefighting systems, a distributed control system and other blow-out prevention systems.
