This was an expansion of the existing Tabuk Power Plant II, based on one GE Frame -7EA gas turbine generator unit (around 60 MW site rating each), operating on distillate. Major balance of plant equipment included distillate oil tanks, a new GIS substation, fuel handling & forwarding systems, plant heating-ventilation-air-conditioning and firefighting systems.
