Power Plants

Power Projects Division (NCC-PPD) undertakes Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) Projects involving the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) of Gas Turbine and Diesel Generator based Power Plants. NCC-PPD also has the capability to undertake LSTK EPC Projects for Steam Turbine, Cogeneration and Combined Cycle Power Plants.

NCC-PPD is well equipped with ‘In-House’ resources to cover the entire range of activities in the Engineering, Procurement, and Testing 7 Commissioning of Power Plants. The manpower resource spans the core disciplines of Power Plant Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, Control and Instrumentation. The specialized software Tools being utilized by NCC-PPD include the following:

  • GTPRO (Gas Turbine Cycle Optimization)
  • PEACE (Plant Engineering & Construction Estimator)
  • CAESAR (Piping Stress Analysis & Design)
  • FLO-Series (Piping Design Software)
  • ETAP Power Station (Design & Analysis of Electrical Systems)
  • STAAD III (Analysis & Design of Equipment Foundations)
  • Civil Engineering Software

NCC-PPD undertakes the Procurement of Power Plant equipment for its Projects from leading Power Plant equipment manufacturers in the world.

NCC-PPD also has the complete ‘In-House’ resources and expertise to undertake Testing & Commissioning of the Power Plant equipment for its projects.
